On July 5, the Department of Export Promotion relaunched the business-to-business (B2B) website  www.thaitrade.com. It is designed and developed as the E-Marketplace for vendors and buyers around the world for enterprises of all sizes.

The department intends for the website to be a one-stop service for international buyers in order to connect with Thai exporters. The ministry targets that the number of members should include at least 3,000 operators with over 60,000 product items.

Besides the large portfolio of 25 product categories like Food and Beverage to Electronic components the website offers additional services like a shipping cost calculator tool as well as a call center and an online chat.
